Stud & Youngstock Cubes are popular among breeders, especially those who have larger groups of mares or youngstock, as they are cost effective and can easily be fed on the ground. They are also useful for those horses with a limited appetite as their energy density means that a smaller volume will deliver the required energy and supporting nutrients whilst reducing the risk of overloading the horse’s digestive system. Small frequent, digestible meals are key to reducing excessive glycaemic response and avoiding starch overload.

Barley-free, Stud & Youngstock Cubes are non-heating and a lower starch alternative to Stud & Youngstock Mix so are the preferred choice for horses with a tendency to excitability. They are highly digestible and particularly useful for promoting condition whilst continuing to support the increased nutritional demands of breeding stock and growing youngsters. The vitamin and mineral profile is similar to that of Stud & Youngstock Mix and Stud & Youngstock Cubes can also be fed in reduced quantities alongside Stud Balancer to offer flexibility in the calorie content of the diet whilst maintaining essential nutrient levels.

Free click and collect service. Your order will be ready for you to collect within two hours of your order being placed. Simply bring your order confirmation in to store and we will have your items waiting for you. Great if you want a quick trip out.

Local Van Delivery. If you live within a 15 mile radius of the store we offer a free van delivery service on orders over £40. This service is completely contactless and we aim to have your order with you in 2-3 working days. Perfect for bulky feed or bedding deliveries.

Royal Mail Delivery. We use Royal Mail for our national delivery service. Your shipping charge is based on the weight of your order. Please see table below. Unfortunately we cannot ship items over 15kg outside of our local delivery area.

Returns Policy

No quibble returns policy. Simply email help@widmer.co.uk to notify us of your intent to return an item. Then all we need is the item posted back to us with a copy of your invoice and what you would like to happen ie return for refund or exchange and we will get this processed for you in 3-5 working days. Safety items such as hats and body protectors may not be returned due to Health & Safety reasons, we highly recommend you have them fitted in-store.
